LifeChurch has become known in the region as a welcoming community of Christians and guests captured by it's spirit and vision. Enthused by the opportunity to be involved in a life giving and growing church, we place an extraordinary emphasis on ministry to children and young people, as well as the weekend worship experience for adults.
LifeChurch has 2 campuses, our main campus is in Gorham and our other location in Bath. We are partners with the Willow Creek Association (WCA). The WCA provides training, materials, and support to local churches.
This is the story of LifeChurch to date. You could be a part of the chapters yet to unfold. Why not come and explore the opportunities?

Senior Pastors: Brian and Racquel Undlin
While in the Army, Brian had a dramatic experience with God that changed the course of his life. Brian went on to college at Bemidji State University. From there, he went to Bible College in Tulsa, OK. Racquel felt a call on her life from the time she was young. She and Brian met and were married while attending Bible College in Tulsa OK. Upon their completion from Bible College, they became Youth and Children's Pastors at Hope Worship Center (hopeworship.com) in Tulsa for 6 years. Brian & Racquel knew God had called them to begin an exciting new work. In the spring of 1996, with 2 small children, they moved to Maine without having ever visited or knowing anyone in Maine. Simply knowing that God had put the people of Maine on their hearts, they came ready to serve and God has blessed the church from the beginning. They now have 4 children and an amazingly happy home.
Brian & Racquel have a unique ministry style as they lead the church together and even speak together. Brian says "we don't speak together in this fashion because we think it's cool, rather it's simply the way God has wired us and how we work best. The growth in the church since we began working more closely is obvious. Racquel & I are truly one but the truth is that we have an amazingly tight knit staff that we call the "team" and every important move is done as a "team".

Senior Associate Pastors: Gordy and Kim Johnson
After three years of pursuing a degree in teaching, Gordy knew that his future was serving people in ministry and changed his direction. He and Brian met at college in northern Minnesota and have been partnering together ever since. After Bible school, Gordy and his wife Kim joined Brian and Racquel in launching LifeChurch.

Associate Pastors: Tom & Christine Pequinot
Tom & Christine started attending LifeChurch in 1999. They have both been involved with several ministries at LifeChurch. In 2010 Tom felt the call of God to Ministry. He and Christine live in Gorham Maine with their 3 children.

Youth Leaders: Dan and Nellie Levier
Dan leads our youth ministry “Stainless”. Dan’s passion is to give your teenager the foundations and tools they need to avoid cultural pitfalls and soar into God's highest and best.

Children's Pastor: Samantha Day
Samantha and her husband Chris have been married since 1997. They have three beautiful children Joshua, Cameron and Kaiden. Samantha started attending LifeChurch in 2000. She had no prior church back round before attending LifeChurch. After receiving Christ he really began doing a work in her life that was more than she would ever imagine. When she began to devote her life to God, she found her call and passion serving every week in the children’s ministry department. After teaching and dedicating herself to the children at LifeChurch for several years she then opened our childcare center, Sunny Days. Working at Sunny Days for 5 years was an amazing experience in which God was preparing her for what he had next in her life. In 2010 she was given the opportunity of a lifetime to follow Gods bigger plan, becoming the full time children’s pastor of LifeChurch.
In Samantha’s own words; "Your children’s spiritual growth is so important to me. It is my honor, privilege and passion to help transform your children’s life to know God’s love and truth and help them become spiritual champions for Christ."

Women's Ministry Leader: Twila Weiszbrod
Twila leads the women's ministry. She and her husband Gary have six grown kids and many grandkids. They moved to Maine in 2008 and Twila feels blessed to be able to spend time with the women of LifeChurch, learning and growing together and experiencing the abundant life God so desires to give. Women play important roles in their families and within the church. We also have unique needs. At LifeChurch the purpose of the women's ministry is to teach and encourage women to fulfill their God-given destinies, enjoying freedom from strongholds, fully satisfied and blessed by God's Holy Spirit. Twila would love to share this experience with you!
Bath Campus Pastors: Sam and Ruth Francis
Sam and Ruth have lived in Georgetown, Maine for over 30 years and have four grown sons. Sam holds his masters in psychology and loves to help people discover God’s plan for their lives. Ruth has a heart for people and is a woman of prayer. Together Sam and Ruth create a healthy, welcoming environment that positions those around them to Connect with God and with People.
In November of 1996 Pastors Brian, Racquel, Gordy and Kim launched LifeChurch in a hotel ballroom. A total of twelve people came! In that meeting, Pastor Brian shared vision and future of LifeChurch and how they could help connect the people of Southern Maine to God. This was the birth of LifeChurch and many lives have been changed.
After two and a half years of being a mobile, LifeChurch had outgrown the ballroom and God was about to do something amazing. A beautiful church facility in Gorham, ME became available and was actually given to LifeChurch. From here, we continued to live out the vision of connecting people and reaching out to the community with the life changing message of God’s love. Since then, hundreds of people have been connected to God through the many extensions of LifeChurch.
WE BELIEVE…the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine.
WE BELIEVE…in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world.
WE BELIEVE…Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.
WE BELIEVE…the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit.
WE BELIEVE…water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE…in the regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross.
WE BELIEVE…every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.
WE BELIEVE…as children of God, we are overcomers and more than conquerors and God intends for each of us to experience the abundant life He has in store for us.
Our vision comes from Romans 12:2 where God states that He gives us “Transformed Lives”. This is His gracious gift to every one of us.
Our mission is simple; in fact Jesus summed it up in Matthew 22:37-39 "Love the Lord and love your neighbor." At LifeChurch, we believe it is our responsibility to "Connect with God and with People."

There never was a new search for a new name. Just like God had made clear that he had called us to this place he made clear our real name, we were LifeChurch. We had always been LifeChurch, it was just time to make it public. Read more about our namechange from Portland Faith Center.
