In the year 2000, LifeChurch was looking for practical ways to share God's love.  As they discussed this, the one thing that stood out to them was how Jesus helped people.  Jesus taught people, fed people, healed people and helped in so many other ways.  Each one of these is an amazing thing, but the fact that stood out clearly was that he never charged people anything - he did all these things for FREE.  This really grabbed attention.

In the book of Romans it says that "It is the goodness of God that draws people to repentance".  This simply means that the primary way God grabs our attention is through Him being good to us and showing His love in practical ways.  This is what inspired the Kid's Karnival to be a free event for our community.

Everyone that attends enjoys the food, the games, the pony rides, etc.  But the thing that stands out the most is the smiles, laughter and happy faces on all the people there who are running the event.  These people have not simply invested their time, but they were the ones who funded the event themselves!  That is the generous heart of God. We invite you to mark your calendar, get your kids excited to come, and enjoy this great event with us!
