Join a lifegroup
A LifeGroup is a small group of people gathering regularly “to do life together.” By being in a LifeGroup we develop lasting relationships, encourage each other, and learn how to apply God’s word in our lives. We have three types of groups (study, serving, and activity groups)

LIFECHURCH GROUPS FAQ
What is a LifeChurch group?
A group of people (usually between 6 and 20) that meet regularly together online, in homes, restaurants, coffee shops, businesses, churches, or any location that is convenient for the participants.
What kind of groups are available?
In general, groups usually fall into one of 3 categories:
Sermon-Based: they following along with the weekend messages.
Activity-Based: focusing on an activity, stage of life, or other specific audience.
(examples: basketball, single moms, students, women, etc.)
Study-Based: they study a particular book of the Bible or biblical topic of interest.
(examples: The book of James, The life of Jesus, Having a Christian marriage, etc)
What goes on at a LifeChurch Group?
Though each group differs in how they do things, many groups have a social time in the beginning, then transition to a time where they discuss questions from the selected curriculum and pray for each other. At the very beginning of the group, the whole group decides how much time they will spend on social, discussion, and prayer time.
What if I don’t like the LifeChurch Groups I visit?
Sometimes visiting a group is like trying on shoes. You may have to try a couple of groups out to see which group is the best fit for you and your family. It is ok to visit multiple groups before deciding on which one to join.
Will I be called upon at the group to pray?
Don’t worry, we won’t call on you to pray during a group meeting. You may always volunteer to pray, but we won’t require you to pray out loud in front of other people.
Do I have to know a lot about the Bible in order to attend a LifeChurch Group?
No. People that attend groups are at all different places in their spiritual journey. We don’t expect you to know everything about the Bible. It is always ok to ask a question related to the Bible if you don’t know the answer. When you view the groups catalog, you can even select the level of Bible knowledge you want in a group to help you find the best fit for you.
When and where do groups meet?
We encourage groups to meet weekly, because it’s hard to build relationships only seeing each other a couple of times a month (there are a few exceptions to this). Groups choose to meet when and where they want: online, in homes, at restaurants, evenings or mornings, weekdays or weekends.
Is childcare provided for each group meeting?
Some groups offer childcare, while others do not. When viewing the catalog of groups, you can choose to search for only groups who provide childcare if you want.. Often the group members contribute to pay a babysitter or babysitters to watch the children during the group time, while some groups provide childcare which the church pays for in advance.
How long does each LifeChurch Group meeting last?
Each group picks the length of time they will meet. However, most groups meet for an hour to an hour and half.
